When your balance is too low, you can't run new searches: not in the app, the extension, the API or your integrations. Your past results stay available. To start again, renew your plan now, buy pay-as-you-go credits, or move to a bigger plan.
How to recognize it
In the app: a Not enough credits message asks you to "Top up your account to resume enrichments."
For a file: your balance must cover all the rows when you start it (1 credit per row for emails, 40 for mobile numbers). If it doesn't, the file can't start. See How credits work: what each action costs.
Through the API: requests fail with the HTTP error
402and the reason "Insufficient credits". See API error codes and how to fix them.In Clay and other tools: the error message doesn't always mention credits. Check your balance first. See Enrow isn't working in Clay: how to fix it.
In HubSpot: automatic enrichments are skipped. They don't run again by themselves after you add credits: click Run now on the list.
Your balance is at the bottom of the left menu, under CREDITS. See Check your credit balance and usage.
Get credits now
Choose one of these options:
Renew your plan now. Go to Billing > Overview, and under Manual Renewal, click Renew now. You pay for a new period right away and get your plan's credits at once. See Renew your plan early, manually or automatically.
Buy pay-as-you-go credits. Click Upgrade at the bottom of the left menu, open the One-time payment tab, choose a number of credits and click Purchase plan. These credits never expire.
Move to a bigger plan. An upgrade applies right away, with the credits of the new plan. See Upgrade or downgrade your plan.
You can search again as soon as the new credits are on your balance.
Don't run out next time
Get an alert when your credits run low, by email, Slack or Discord.
Set up automatic top-up: Enrow buys pay-as-you-go credits for you when your balance drops below a threshold.
Renew your plan automatically when your balance is low. See Renew your plan early, manually or automatically.
Special cases
Your subscription is paused. Your subscription credits are frozen, and a Subscription paused message appears. Resume your subscription, or use pay-as-you-go credits: they work during a pause. You can't renew your plan early during a pause. See Pause your subscription.
You are on the Free plan. Your balance goes back to 50 credits every 30 days. To search more now, buy credits or choose a plan. See The Free plan: what's included.
You are on a team.Team credits exhausted means that the team's shared credits are used up: ask your team owner to add credits. Monthly quota reached means that you used your own monthly limit: ask an admin to raise it, or wait until it resets on the 1st of the month. See Control team usage: quotas, API access and search visibility.
