To take a break without losing your credits, pause your subscription for 1, 2 or 3 months in Billing > Overview. You are not charged during the pause, your subscription credits are kept for later, and your pay-as-you-go credits stay usable.
Pause your subscription
Go to Billing in the left menu. The Overview tab opens.
In Manage subscription, under Pause Subscription, choose 1 Month, 2 Months or 3 Months.
Click Pause.
Click Confirm. To keep your subscription running, click Cancel instead.
During the pause
You are not charged, and no new monthly credits are added.
Your subscription credits are frozen. You can't use them, but you don't lose them. They come back when the pause ends.
Your pay-as-you-go credits stay usable. Using them doesn't restart your subscription.
Without pay-as-you-go credits, your searches are refused. The app shows "Subscription paused": resume your subscription, or buy a pay-as-you-go credit pack. API calls are refused too. You can get an alert when this happens with the API calls declined line of your notification settings (see Manage your notifications).
You can't renew your plan early until you resume.
The Overview tab shows a Paused badge and the date when the pause ends.
End the pause
Your subscription restarts on its own at the end of the pause. Your subscription credits are unfrozen, and billing starts again.
Your renewal date moves by the length of the pause. For example, if your plan renews on March 10 and you pause it for 2 months, your next renewal is on May 10.
To end the pause earlier, go to Billing > Overview and click Resume now. You aren't charged right away: your next payment date moves by the time your subscription was actually paused.
There is no limit on the number of pauses.
Tip: Need a break? Pause rather than cancel. After a cancellation, your unused subscription credits are lost at the end of the billing period. Pay-as-you-go credits never expire in either case.
Note: On a team, only the team owner manages billing.
