Get an alert when your credits run low

Get an email, a Slack message or a Discord message when your credit balance drops below the amount you choose.

Written by Thomas Lucy

Set a credit alert in Billing > Settings: choose an amount, and Enrow emails you when your balance drops below it. You can also get the alert in Slack or Discord.

Set up the alert

  1. Go to Billing in the left menu.

  2. Click the Settings tab.

  3. Under Credit Alert, check the email address that will receive the alert. Your account's email is filled in.

  4. In Credit threshold, type the balance below which you want an alert, for example 1000.

  5. Click Save.

Tip: Choose a threshold that leaves you time to add credits, for example the number of credits you use in a week.

Get the alert in Slack or Discord

  1. Connect a Slack or Discord channel first. See Get Enrow alerts in Slack or Get Enrow alerts in Discord.

  2. Click your name at the bottom of the left menu, then Notification settings.

  3. On the Low credit balance line, turn on the switch in the SLACK or DISCORD column.

The threshold is the same for every channel. You change it in Billing > Settings.

As long as no Slack or Discord channel is connected, the email can't be turned off: it is the alert. The bell at the top of the app also shows it.

Get an alert when API calls are declined

If you use the API, the API calls declined line warns you when API requests fail because you don't have enough credits or your subscription is paused. You get it at most once a week. Turn it on or off on the same page, in the EMAIL, SLACK or DISCORD column.

Never run out

An alert warns you, but you still need to add credits. To add them automatically, see Set up automatic top-up or Renew your plan early, manually or automatically.

Note: On a team, only the team owner manages billing settings.
