To change your plan, click Upgrade at the bottom of the left menu, then choose another plan or another number of credits. An upgrade applies right away. A downgrade applies at your next renewal date.
Change your plan
Click Upgrade at the bottom of the left menu. You can also go to Billing and click Plans & credit packs.
Choose the Monthly or Yearly tab.
On the plan you want, choose a number of credits in the menu. To change only your number of credits, use the menu of your current plan.
Click Upgrade plan or Downgrade plan.
Confirm the change. When a payment is needed, a secure Stripe payment page opens.
You can only change your plan from this page. The Stripe portal doesn't offer it.
Upgrade: right away
Your new plan starts the day you upgrade.
You pay the full price of the new plan right away. There is no prorated amount for the days left on your old plan.
You get the credits of the new plan right away. They are added to the subscription credits you have, within the roll-over limit of the new plan.
Your renewal date moves to the day of the upgrade. For example, if you upgrade on March 20, your next monthly payment is on April 20.
Downgrade: at your next renewal
You keep your current plan and its credits until your next renewal date.
On that date, the new plan starts and you pay its price.
The roll-over limit of the new plan then applies. If your subscription balance is above it, the extra credits are lost.
Your pay-as-you-go credits are never affected.
Before you confirm, the app warns you if you will lose credits, and shows how many. Click Switch anyway to confirm, or Cancel.
Moving to a smaller plan to keep your credits no longer works. To stop for a while without losing your subscription credits, pause your subscription instead. See Pause your subscription.
Switch between monthly and yearly
Monthly to yearly: you can switch at any time. It counts as an upgrade: it applies right away, and you pay for the year.
Yearly to monthly: it counts as a downgrade and applies at the end of the year you paid for. The roll-over limit of the monthly plan then applies: subscription credits above it are lost.
The Start plan is only available monthly.
Legacy plans
If you are on a legacy plan, any change moves you to the current plans and prices. You can't go back to your old rate. See Legacy plans.
Note: On a team, only the team owner can change the plan.
