What you can do with the data you get from Enrow

How you may use the emails and phone numbers you find with Enrow, and what needs Enrow's written agreement.

Written by Thomas Lucy

You can use the emails and phone numbers you get from Enrow for B2B prospecting: in your CRM, your email campaigns and your calls. Reselling the data, giving it to others or using it in your own product needs Enrow's written agreement.

This article is a summary of clauses 4.5, 8.3 and 13.2 of the Terms, which are the official reference.

What you can do

  • Prospect professionals by email, phone or any other channel, for your business.

  • Store the results in your CRM, your outreach tools and your internal files.

  • Keep using the data you exported after your subscription ends, for B2B purposes and under your responsibility.

  • Use your API key in tools connected to Enrow, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay or Zapier. You are responsible for what these tools do with the data.

  • Run campaigns for your clients if you are an agency: you can use your Enrow account to prospect on behalf of your clients.

What needs Enrow's written agreement

  • Giving or selling the data to others, including delivering enriched files to your clients.

  • Showing Enrow data in your own product, or reselling it through your platform.

  • Using Enrow in a waterfall, that is, a tool that queries several data providers one after the other.

  • Building a competing tool or a data enrichment service.

Each case is agreed one by one, in a written contract. To discuss it, contact Enrow's sales team: see How to contact Enrow (support, sales, demo, privacy). If you build on the API, read Using the Enrow API in your own product (partners, resellers, waterfalls).

What is never allowed

  • Contacting consumers for consumer marketing (B2C).

  • Feeding advertising networks, retargeting or audience-matching tools, for example by uploading emails to create an ad audience.

  • Sending spam, or using the data for harassment, phishing or fraud.

  • Using Enrow in a country where local law doesn't allow it.

Breaking these rules can lead to the immediate end of your contract.

Before you use the data

  • Check old data again. Data is provided "as is", as it was at the time of your search. People change jobs, so verify emails again before you reuse an old list (see How to verify a list of emails in bulk).

  • Follow data protection rules. Have a legal basis, tell people where you got their data, and respect opt-outs and do-not-call lists. See GDPR, CCPA and Enrow's Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

  • You don't own the data. You have a right to use it while your subscription lasts. The data you already exported to your own tools remains usable after that.
