To clean a list of emails, go to Email Verifier, drop your file in Bulk Verification, choose the column with the addresses, then click Start Verification. Each address costs 0.25 credit, and 10,000 addresses take about one minute.
Before you start
Your file needs one column of email addresses, one address per row. Other columns can stay in the file: you choose the right one when you import it. Click See an example input file in Bulk Verification to see the format.
There is no strict size limit. Very large files take longer to download, so split lists of several hundred thousand addresses into a few files.
Check your credits. You need enough credits to verify every row when you launch the file.
Upload and launch your file
Go to Email Verifier in the left menu.
In Bulk Verification, drag and drop your CSV, XLS or XLSX file, or click browse to choose it.
In Email column, choose the column that contains the addresses. If the app says that some values don't look like valid email addresses, check that you chose the right column.
Keep Delete duplicate rows checked to verify each address only once.
Read the number of credits needed, then click Start Verification.
Click to confirm in the Confirm Email Verification window.
Enrow verifies your file in the background. A file can't be stopped once it has started. When it is done, the table shows how many valid emails your file contains.
Download your clean list
In the table below the form, click the Bulk tab.
In the Output column, click the file name that ends with "_export" to download your file.
Each row shows its result: valid or invalid. To download only the addresses you can send to, go to File Output Settings and choose Valid only before you download.
See How to customize your export file (File Output Settings) for the other options. Files are deleted after 3 months, so keep a copy of your results.
What it costs
Each verification costs 0.25 credit, whether the address is valid or invalid. An invalid result is useful: it tells you not to send to that address. Verifications that can't be done, for example because an address is badly written or a mail server doesn't answer, are refunded.
Tips for a clean campaign
Verify your list again before a campaign if your last check was a while ago. An address stops working when its owner leaves the company.
Don't verify the emails found by Enrow's Email Finder. They are already verified when you get them.
Remove the invalid addresses from your list. They are likely to bounce and can hurt your sender reputation.
