Connect Slack from Integrations > Slack: Enrow then posts its alerts in one Slack channel of your choice, such as a low credit balance or a finished file. Enrow posts in that channel only, and reads nothing in your workspace.
Before you start
A paid Enrow plan. On a team, only the team owner or an admin connects Slack. The channel then receives the alerts of the whole team.
In Slack, you need to be allowed to add apps to your workspace. If your workspace blocks third-party apps, use a webhook URL instead (see below).
Connect Slack
Go to Integrations in the left menu.
On the Slack card, click Connect.
Click Add to Slack.
Slack asks which channel Enrow can post in. Choose the channel and confirm.
Enrow immediately posts "Enrow is connected" in the channel, so you can check that it works.
Use a webhook URL instead
If your workspace blocks third-party apps:
In Slack, go to Apps > Incoming Webhooks and create a webhook for the channel you want.
In Enrow, on the Slack page, click Use a webhook URL instead.
Paste the webhook URL (it starts with
https://hooks.slack.com/services/), then click Connect.
Enrow posts a test message in the channel before saving the webhook.
The alerts you get
Low credit balance: when your balance drops below your alert threshold. You set the threshold in Billing > Settings, under Credit Alert. See Get an alert when your credits run low.
API calls declined: when API requests fail because you don't have enough credits or your subscription is paused. At most once a week.
Automatic refills: when an early renewal or an automatic top-up adds credits.
File processed: when a bulk file finishes, with the number of emails and phone numbers found.
All four alerts are posted when you connect the channel. Messages are in English, or in French for French-language accounts.
Choose which alerts go to Slack
Click your name at the bottom left, then Notification settings.
In the SLACK column, turn each alert on or off.
The Slack switches apply to the whole team, and only the team owner and admins can change them. The email switches are personal.
Note: An alert about your balance never gets lost. If you turned off the low credit email and no channel accepts the post (for example, the channel was deleted), Enrow sends the email anyway.
What it costs
Alerts are free. They use no credits.
Disconnect Slack
Go to Integrations > Slack and click Disconnect. Enrow stops posting in the channel. Your email alerts don't change. If you connect Slack again later, all four alerts are posted again by default.
