Connect HubSpot to Enrow

Link your HubSpot account from Enrow or from the HubSpot Marketplace, map your fields and add the Enrow card to your contacts.

Written by Thomas Lucy

Go to Integrations in Enrow, click Connect on the HubSpot card, then authorize Enrow in HubSpot. You can also start from the HubSpot Marketplace. A team owner or admin connects HubSpot once for the whole team, and there is no API key to copy.

Before you start

  • In HubSpot, you need to be a Super Admin or to have the App Marketplace access permission. If you don't, ask your HubSpot admin.

  • In Enrow, you need a paid plan. On a team, only the team owner or an admin can connect HubSpot. Every member can then use the connection.

  • One HubSpot account can be connected to only one Enrow workspace at a time, and one Enrow workspace to only one HubSpot account.

Connect HubSpot from Enrow

  1. Go to Integrations in the left menu.

  2. On the HubSpot card, click Connect.

  3. On the HubSpot page, click Connect. A HubSpot window opens.

  4. Log in to HubSpot, choose the HubSpot account to connect, and authorize the access Enrow asks for.

Back in Enrow, a message confirms that HubSpot is connected. Enrow suggests a default field mapping, which you can check in the next step.

Install Enrow from the HubSpot Marketplace

  1. In HubSpot, open the HubSpot Marketplace, search for Enrow and click Install.

  2. In the dialog box, click Sign in. Enrow opens in a new window.

  3. Log in to Enrow, or create an account. Check that the Enrow account shown is the right one, then click Connect HubSpot.

  4. Back in HubSpot, review the access Enrow asks for, select the checkbox and click Connect app.

Enrow applies the default field mapping, with automatic enrichment turned off. If your Enrow workspace was already connected to another HubSpot account, this installation replaces that connection and resets its settings.

Map your fields

The field mapping tells Enrow which HubSpot property receives each piece of data.

  1. Go to Integrations and click Configure on the HubSpot card.

  2. In the Configuration tab, open Field Mapping.

  3. Check the mapping. By default:

    • Email → email

    • Phone → phone

    • LinkedIn URL → hs_linkedin_url

    • First name → firstname

    • Last name → lastname

    • Company name → company

    • Job title (headline) → jobtitle

    • Location (city) → city

  4. For each field, choose the Override setting. When it is off (the default), Enrow keeps the value already in HubSpot and only fills empty properties. When it is on, Enrow replaces the existing value.

  5. Click Save Configuration.

A field you leave unmapped is never written. Keep at least these two mappings:

  • Email: Enrow uses it to find the matching contact in HubSpot. Without it, each push creates a new contact, and you may get duplicates.

  • LinkedIn URL: phone searches run from the contact's LinkedIn URL. Without it, Enrow can't find phone numbers.

Add the Enrow card to your contacts

With the Enrow card, anyone in HubSpot can find a contact's email or phone number from the contact record. HubSpot doesn't add the card on its own. A Super Admin, or a user with the Customize record page layout permission, adds it once for everyone:

  1. In HubSpot, open any contact.

  2. Click Customize at the top of the middle column, then click Default view.

  3. In the right sidebar, click the + icon where you want the card.

  4. In the Card library tab, set Card types to App, then click Add card under Enrow.

  5. Click Save and exit.

If your HubSpot account uses team views, add the card to each of them too. To use the card, see Enrich your HubSpot contacts with Enrow.

What Enrow can access in HubSpot

  • Contacts, read and write: to read the name, company and LinkedIn URL used for a search, and to create or update contacts.

  • Contact properties, read: to list your properties in the field mapping.

  • Lists, read: to show your HubSpot lists in Enrow and enrich their contacts.

What it costs

Connecting HubSpot is free, and so is pushing a contact to HubSpot. Searches use your Enrow credits: see Enrich your HubSpot contacts with Enrow.

Reconnect or disconnect HubSpot

If Enrow says that HubSpot needs to be reconnected, a team owner or admin goes to Integrations > HubSpot and clicks Reconnect. This happens when the HubSpot access was revoked, or when the person who connected HubSpot left the team. Your settings are kept if you reconnect the same HubSpot account. Until then, the Enrow card and automatic enrichment are paused, and nothing is charged.

To stop the integration:

  • In Enrow: go to Integrations > HubSpot, then click Disconnect in the Danger zone. This removes the connection and permanently deletes your mapping, triggers and settings. Enrow stays installed in HubSpot, but its card stops working.

  • In HubSpot: click the settings icon, go to Integrations > Connected apps, click Actions next to Enrow, then Uninstall.

Do both to remove everything. The data Enrow already wrote stays in HubSpot. To move HubSpot to another Enrow workspace, disconnect it from the first workspace, then connect it from the other one.
