To find more emails, give Enrow each person's full name and the domain of the company they work for today. Your find rate depends mostly on the quality of this information and on the people you target.
Send the right company
Use the domain rather than the company name. As the search bar says under the company field: "+30% finding rate with a domain." If you only have the company name, find the company's website and use its domain (for example, acme.com).
Use the company the person works for today. Not a former employer, not a parent company, and not a platform such as linkedin.com or gmail.com. Enrow finds professional emails only.
In a file, choose the right country. When you search by company name, set Main prospect country to the country where your prospects are based. Enrow uses it to match each company name to the right domain. The default is the United States. If your prospects are in several countries, split your file by country.
Use their LinkedIn URL when you have it. Enrow can also find an email from the URL of the person's LinkedIn profile: in the Email Finder search bar, in a file with a LinkedIn column and through the API. When you prospect on LinkedIn, the Chrome extension finds the email straight from the profile you open.
Send complete names
Always include the last name. With only one word in the name, Enrow rarely finds the email.
Remove what is not part of the name, such as titles (Dr., Mr.), degrees (MBA, PhD), emojis or job titles.
Check your file before you start
Keep one kind of information per column. Don't mix domains and company names in the same column.
Map each column to the right field. A website column goes in Company Domain, not in Company name. A wrong mapping can bring your find rate close to zero.
Read the warnings. If the import screen says that some values don't look like valid domains or names, check that column before you start.
Test a small sample first when you use a new source of contacts.
Know which contacts are hard to find
Very small businesses, freelancers and self-employed people often have no professional email address. Expect fewer results for them.
Some domains are not searched on purpose, such as certain government bodies.
Avoid resending contacts that another tool already failed to find. They are often the hardest to find, and they lower your find rate.
Track your success rate
Go to Billing > Success rate to see the percentage of your Email Finder searches that found an email over the last 7 days, day by day. It counts all your Email Finder searches: search bar, files, extension, API and integrations. Searches that fail because of a problem on Enrow's side are never counted. The tab appears once you have run enough Email Finder searches.
