Use Enrow in n8n

Install the Enrow community node on self-hosted n8n, or call the Enrow API from n8n Cloud, to find and verify emails and find mobile numbers.

On self-hosted n8n, install the Enrow community node, n8n-nodes-enrow, to find and verify work emails, find mobile numbers and check your credit balance in your workflows. On n8n Cloud, call the Enrow API with the HTTP Request node instead.

Before you start

  • Self-hosted n8n, and an owner or admin of the n8n instance to install the node. n8n allows community nodes on self-hosted instances only.

  • A paid Enrow plan and your Enrow API key. Go to API in the left menu of Enrow to copy it. See Find, copy or reset your API key.

Connect Enrow to n8n

  1. In n8n, an owner or admin goes to Settings > Community Nodes and clicks Install.

  2. Enter the package name n8n-nodes-enrow and confirm.

  3. Create an Enrow API credential and paste your Enrow API key. n8n tests it with your Enrow account.

The node is free and open source. Its code is on GitHub, at EnrowAPI/n8n-nodes-enrow.

Use the Enrow node

Add the Enrow node after your trigger, choose a resource and an operation, then map the fields:

  • Email Finder: Find takes a full name and a company domain or name, and starts the search.

  • Email Verifier: Verify checks whether an address can receive email, catch-all addresses included.

  • Phone Finder: Find finds a person's mobile number from their LinkedIn profile URL.

  • Account: Info returns your credit balance, for example to stop a workflow before your credits run out.

To process a whole list, use Find Bulk or Verify Bulk, then read the results with Get Bulk.

Enrow answers asynchronously: Find and Verify return a search id, not the result. To get the result, either give the operation the URL of an n8n Webhook node, or add a Wait node followed by the Get operation with that id.

On n8n Cloud

n8n Cloud doesn't accept community nodes from npm. Use the HTTP Request node instead:

  1. Create a Header Auth credential. Set Name to x-api-key and Value to your Enrow API key.

  2. In an HTTP Request node, choose this credential, then call the Enrow endpoint you need, for example POST https://api.enrow.io/email/find/single.

  3. Get the result with a Webhook node, by passing its URL in settings.webhook, or with a Wait node and a GET request.

What it costs

  • Email: 1 credit per email found.

  • Phone: 40 credits per mobile number found (50 on legacy plans).

  • Verification: 0.25 credit per email verified.

  • Account info: free.

  • Nothing when a search finds nothing.

Bulk operations cost the same per result as single ones: they save requests, not credits.

If it doesn't work

  • You can't find Community Nodes in the settings: you are on n8n Cloud, or you are not an owner or admin of the instance. On n8n Cloud, use the HTTP Request node.

  • The credential test fails: check that you pasted the full API key. If you reset your key in Enrow, update the credential with the new key.

  • You get an id but no result: this is normal. Add a Webhook node, or a Wait node followed by Get.

  • Error 402: your Enrow balance is empty. See What happens when you run out of credits.
