The Enrow API is included in every paid plan. It is not included in the Free plan. There is no sandbox: you test the API on live data, and searches that find nothing cost nothing.
Which plans include the API
You can use the API if your account has an active subscription (Start, Pro or Scale, monthly or yearly) or pay-as-you-go credits from a one-time payment.
All paid plans get the same API: the same features, the same rate limits and the same cost per result. Compare the plans on enrow.io/pricing.
On the Free plan, the API page shows "API access not included in your plan" and an Upgrade button instead of the key. The Free plan gives you 50 credits every month to try Enrow in the app.
When API access stops
Your subscription has ended and you have no pay-as-you-go credits left: you lose API access until you buy a plan again.
Your subscription is paused: your subscription credits are frozen. API requests can still use your pay-as-you-go credits. If you have none, they are declined.
You are out of credits: requests return an error 402. See API error codes and how to fix them.
You can get an email, Slack or Discord alert when API calls are declined because of missing credits or a paused subscription. Turn on API calls declined in Profile > Notifications.
In a team
Team members don't have API access by default. The team owner or an admin turns it on for each member in Team. Without it, the member's API page says "API access not enabled". A suspended member sees "API access locked". Learn more in Control team usage: quotas, API access and search visibility.
How to test the API
There is no sandbox or test mode. Every call runs a real search on live data and uses real credits. You can still test at a low cost:
Searches that find nothing are free. The Email Finder and the Phone Finder charge only when they find an email or a number.
Start small. A Start plan or a small one-time payment is enough to build and test an integration. See Choose a plan.
Test with contacts you know, such as your colleagues, so you can check the results.
Check your balance for free with
GET /account/info. It costs no credits.
