How to find emails and phone numbers in the same file

Choose the right enrichment mode to get emails and mobile numbers from one file, and know what it costs.

Written by Thomas Lucy

To get emails and phone numbers from one file, choose a mode with both in Enrichment mode when you import your file: Phone fallback or Email + Phone in the Email Finder, or Phone + Email in the Phone Finder. You pay 1 credit per email found and 40 credits per number found.

Choose the right mode

In the Email Finder (your file has names and companies):

  • Email only: finds emails only.

  • Phone fallback: finds the email of every person, and searches a phone number only for the people whose email was not found. Use it when you need one way to reach each person.

  • Email + Phone: finds the email and the phone number of every person.

In the Phone Finder (your file has LinkedIn profile URLs):

  • Phone only: finds phone numbers only.

  • Phone + Email: finds the phone number and the email of every person.

The columns you need

  • To find emails: the person's name (full name, or first name and last name) and their company (domain or name), or the URL of their LinkedIn profile. In the Phone Finder, Phone + Email finds the email from the LinkedIn URL column alone.

  • To find phone numbers: the URL of the person's LinkedIn profile. As soon as you choose a mode with phones in the Email Finder, the LinkedIn column becomes required.

A row without a LinkedIn URL can't get a phone number. A name and a company are not enough to find a number.

Launch a file with emails and phones

  1. Go to Email Finder in the left menu.

  2. In Bulk Search, drag and drop your file, or click browse to choose it.

  3. Match your name and company columns.

  4. In Enrichment mode, choose Phone fallback or Email + Phone.

  5. In LinkedIn column, choose the column that contains the LinkedIn profile URLs.

  6. Read the estimate of the credits needed, then click Start Enrichment and confirm.

From the Phone Finder, the steps are the same: drop your file in Bulk Phone Search, choose your LinkedIn column, then choose Phone + Email.

What it costs

When you launch the file, you need enough credits for every row: up to 41 credits per row (1 for the email and 40 for the phone number). At the end, you only pay for what was found, and the rest goes back to your balance:

  • 1 credit for each email found.

  • 40 credits for each number found (50 on some older plans, see Legacy plans).

  • Nothing for what was not found.

For example, a file of 100 rows in Email + Phone needs 4,100 credits available at launch. If Enrow finds 60 emails and 30 numbers, you pay 60 + 1,200 = 1,260 credits.

Note: Check the mode before you click Start Enrichment. Only Phone only searches phone numbers alone. All the other modes also search emails, and each email found costs 1 credit.

Get your results

The email search and the phone search run side by side. That is why the Info window of the file shows two Bulk search IDs. When the file is done, the app shows how many emails and numbers were found. You get one enriched file with both the email and the phone columns. To download it, click the Bulk tab of the table below the search form, then click the file name that ends with "_export" in the Output column.

The phone columns are Number (Enrow) and Country (Enrow). The email column is Email (Enrow).
